Here they are!

The first cute fuzzy thing I wanted to show you are the new baby chickens we got. They are Golden Comets, (hens). We got 12 of them, yes, 12...fuzzy lil balls of fluff that are just sooo cute and adorable, except for the mess they make, lol. We have them in a blue tote lined with newspaper, but it won't be long before they have to have something bigger.

Tell me the truth, have you ever seen anything as cute as these lil darlins'?

Except maybe these sweeties! Baby bunnies! We purchased 3, 1 buck and 2 does...but we probaly won't name any babies they have, because my husband wanted to raise them to (enter gasp here) eat them....I know, I know how could you eat those cute sweet furry little things? I have never eaten rabbits, but I will try it, as long as I don't have to kill them...

I mean, look at how cute they are...this is the male bunny, I had a picture of the female up, but I don't know what blogger did with it...It just now disappeared...
But I will go for now...I will write more later...and get some more pics up...I want to show you my forsythia in bloom, and a picture of my grape hyacinth bean vines, and my easter flowers that I thought were dead... more on that later...and also show you the big yellow thing...but I have hungry family waiting on soup beans, sauerkraut and weiners, cornbread, and salmon patties...come on over for supper!

Well you did manage to make me hungry Amber...but not for rabbit. Your baby chicks are really cute...I can almost feel how soft they are...Good luck with them! Our plants are just now starting to bloom here in Ohio.

we're getting chicks, too, and they should be here in the mail next week. we're getting 125 and 6 ducks, but not all at once. 25 are layers,a nd the other 100 are for eating. we've raised rabbits, too, but now only have dudley the daddy left. we ate them and all, but unless you grow up eating them, it's a little hard to get over the fact that you are eating a rabbit. they taste fine, and if you close your eyes, you wouldn't even knwo that it's not chicken! but like i said...

They are adorable! I have my favorites with the chickens but I wouldn't have a problem eating the other ones if I had to. (life or death situation you know!) Thye girls want a bunny, but Daddy finally let them have a puppy so I guess that is off the list now.

Hi, You have quite a family there counting the animals. I have always wanted chicks tobeable to gather eggs like we did whenI grew up. This is my first time on your blog ~I will be back. Things are really coming out here in Louisiana. Time to get the garden planted but the ground is a little wet. Have a good day.
