Not only am I in my second block of classes at Phoenix, I have taken a part time job. I started working at FoodCity in Paintsville Kentucky on Saturday. I am being trained in the Deli. I don't believe I have ever worked soooo hard. Between housework, schoolwork (mine and the boys) and now work work, lol, I probably won't be posting as much, I know, I don't post that much anyway!Amberhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02896475943205901160noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5199218234388934672.post-59005429830196676412009-07-27T15:44:00.004-04:002009-07-27T15:51:52.074-04:00I AM A PHOENIX!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzlwNX8EfHU71uU7GMuZ8QMtMMnO2VbHS27q_ZwyJWMBXkcr4SbH2ZJvaBc0Ql9j0PwYccz7Z3zOxcXOGuY4PFLnvlKwjyA13o5AL4Eq9M2kc-B8Lu1HWTN7GNyzOdz5DR-c04Y9kVQClg/s1600-h/6+yrs+old.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 170px; height: 211px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzlwNX8EfHU71uU7GMuZ8QMtMMnO2VbHS27q_ZwyJWMBXkcr4SbH2ZJvaBc0Ql9j0PwYccz7Z3zOxcXOGuY4PFLnvlKwjyA13o5AL4Eq9M2kc-B8Lu1HWTN7GNyzOdz5DR-c04Y9kVQClg/s400/6+yrs+old.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5363228901330209442" /></a><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXYgwOGQg_r1gLXjgihGGEOFm7frw-TC0dVtPDL9fxj2q-uVBChWj_BXpRxNfpLBmSKvrqYgK-BS7gZE8vthoBG_8U_mTlYxp_8o886TiNGf_mr_xo6dsK0Ymqa_X2cREFLJGmKhh48fyi/s1600-h/IAAP_phxedu_Adam01.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 190px; height: 303px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXYgwOGQg_r1gLXjgihGGEOFm7frw-TC0dVtPDL9fxj2q-uVBChWj_BXpRxNfpLBmSKvrqYgK-BS7gZE8vthoBG_8U_mTlYxp_8o886TiNGf_mr_xo6dsK0Ymqa_X2cREFLJGmKhh48fyi/s400/IAAP_phxedu_Adam01.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5363228898621953490" /></a><br /><br />After giving it a lot of thought and prayer, I decided to apply myself and go back to school. I started college classes June 29, and today starts my 5th week. I decided to take information technology, and it is a very hard course so far. I will be doing this for the next 21 months, and hopefully after I am finished, I will be able to get a good job, doing what I love!<br /> On another note, 1 week from tomorrow, my 3 boys will be back in school. I will have a Juniopr, a Freshman, and a 7th grader. Hard to believe that these 3 babies pictured above are that old now. I mean, that picture was just taken what? Yesterday? Last Week? 10 years ago, you say? No way. I gotta go cry now!Amberhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02896475943205901160noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5199218234388934672.post-25323099579719807682009-07-21T12:55:00.002-04:002009-07-21T17:43:32.057-04:00my favorite recipe!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8Yu19RK1ftNoz2-3piSuWJizZOgYSlYMrQIbUhrgBNUe49lmVlm5n-VT1iOHYpZZiBlx1jXAnE6iqrzaje-xYrub4ds-u123kRo-LkpZMDMaHTIv64gRvJ5wzfEa8SAdnKALocPhBUsnc/s1600-h/exps10226_TH10039C45B.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8Yu19RK1ftNoz2-3piSuWJizZOgYSlYMrQIbUhrgBNUe49lmVlm5n-VT1iOHYpZZiBlx1jXAnE6iqrzaje-xYrub4ds-u123kRo-LkpZMDMaHTIv64gRvJ5wzfEa8SAdnKALocPhBUsnc/s400/exps10226_TH10039C45B.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5360958639395864610" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Strawberry Cheesecake Trifle<br /><br />For a fantastic finale, this trifle makes any meal a special one. A real American hero dies and not a mention of it in the news. The media has no honor and God is watching<br /><br />Ed Freeman<br /><br />You're a 19-year-old kid. You're critically wounded and dying in the jungle in the Ia Drang Valley , 11-14-1965, LZ X-ray, Vietnam . Your infantry unit is outnumbered 8-1 and the enemy fire is so intense, from 100 or 200 yards away, that your own Infantry Commander has ordered the MediVac helicopters to stop coming in. You're lying there, listening to the enemy machine guns, and you know you're not getting out. Your family is half way around the world, 12,000 miles away and you'll never see them again. As the world starts to fade in and out, you know this is the day. Then, over the machine gun noise, you faintly hear that sound of a helicopter and you look up to see an unarmed Huey, but it doesn't seem real because no Medi-Vac markings are on it. Ed Freeman is coming for you. He's not Medi-Vac, so it's not his job, but he's flying his Huey down into the machine gun fire, after the Medi-Vacs were ordered not to come. He's coming anyway. And he drops it in and sits there in the machine gun fire as they load 2 or 3 of you on board. Then he flies you up and out, through the gunfire to the doc tors and nurses. And he kept coming back, 13 more times, and took about 30 of you and your buddies out, who would never have gotten out.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Medal of Honor Recipient Ed Freeman died on Wednesday, June 25th, 2009, at the age of 80, in Boise , ID. May God rest his soul.<br />Medal of Honor Winner Ed Freeman! Since the media didn't give him the coverage he deserves, send this to every red-blooded American you know.<br />THANKS AGAIN, ED, FOR WHAT YOU DID FOR OUR COUNTRY. I have babysat her since she was 4 months old, and she likes to come visit and eat popsicles, lol. She got kicked by a young mare and we almost lost her in February, that is why her hair looks lopsided. But praise the Lord, she is fine now.<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJrcXcQ-prqrBN0-QZA6JCSami-CmEijk64FzJ-gOXIyxKDXIe7dQxKHmait7xyG854B7hXsPsdu1B3vmBYtW-6U-6osmJDIOLwX_HjD6b_66Wwjqgh7PGJnwSDnqVtSe2uVg1DbZZ7NzX/s1600-h/Ava,snow,chickens+007.JPG"><img style="WIDTH: 400px; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5337153516812906402" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJrcXcQ-prqrBN0-QZA6JCSami-CmEijk64FzJ-gOXIyxKDXIe7dQxKHmait7xyG854B7hXsPsdu1B3vmBYtW-6U-6osmJDIOLwX_HjD6b_66Wwjqgh7PGJnwSDnqVtSe2uVg1DbZZ7NzX/s400/Ava,snow,chickens+007.JPG" /></a><br />Also busy trying to figur out what this gorgeous wildflower is...<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxAWbhw-Ep1Ih1yFJ2pDkRgeXGIEUMZZvbg8207wSSpAwHggwyi0Y9iAnAx98AMNf9Jkzg1siJ4xiWk2GArPsMELw_x1srlp4ppcbWbVaUzkyTuxA-HAFEOSFTeS-KwakFsb-yjuWrJ0px/s1600-h/020.JPG"><img style="WIDTH: 400px; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5337153513959205506" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxAWbhw-Ep1Ih1yFJ2pDkRgeXGIEUMZZvbg8207wSSpAwHggwyi0Y9iAnAx98AMNf9Jkzg1siJ4xiWk2GArPsMELw_x1srlp4ppcbWbVaUzkyTuxA-HAFEOSFTeS-KwakFsb-yjuWrJ0px/s400/020.JPG" /></a><br />And watching beautiful spring sunsets like the one below...<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkvVd1rh3j9DgqvxDXw5x1sSNVuaKVpKivjyebiZK9dUp9wbeeaOZFMgeFbRcEJlOUz1Gk2D-lUnfylSQl0dFGCHMpQ_zx9NH2ESyofX9udgLazkp3Iff6LOaS5ZVjTgolpgVdos-P_nme/s1600-h/024.JPG"><img style="WIDTH: 400px; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5337153511688146178" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkvVd1rh3j9DgqvxDXw5x1sSNVuaKVpKivjyebiZK9dUp9wbeeaOZFMgeFbRcEJlOUz1Gk2D-lUnfylSQl0dFGCHMpQ_zx9NH2ESyofX9udgLazkp3Iff6LOaS5ZVjTgolpgVdos-P_nme/s400/024.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><br />and relaxing on the glider with my 2 best friends...Jake the dog and Jester the Cat.<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizEuc3dM00UarpqnM_rXPPBCo1UkG1-hmXpRvvvQbhLbIX6SR1Wzxx3Pp0lehOo3_pCYADLCGJI7u9Xw312-GijXjD5FtggO_U4_mc89-6yMfSKDwyf9UT7MafihVBgRvfbPq26mgwYwYr/s1600-h/007.JPG"><img style="WIDTH: 400px; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5337153505699998498" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizEuc3dM00UarpqnM_rXPPBCo1UkG1-hmXpRvvvQbhLbIX6SR1Wzxx3Pp0lehOo3_pCYADLCGJI7u9Xw312-GijXjD5FtggO_U4_mc89-6yMfSKDwyf9UT7MafihVBgRvfbPq26mgwYwYr/s400/007.JPG" /></a><br />After all...what is more important than good friends?<br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div></div></div>Amberhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02896475943205901160noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5199218234388934672.post-14901213990432943762009-04-16T22:04:00.002-04:002009-04-16T22:32:57.036-04:0016th birthday...can't be, shouldn't be...I don't want to believe it!Happy Sweet Sixteen©<br /> By Shirley J. You see this precious little thang? This picture was taken April 26, 1993. The baby was Conley Eugene Swafford III. He was exactly 1 week old. Cute lil' feller, huh? He was 8 lbs 9 oz. at birth, and 20 inches long.<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjU3Z0daVzIBiGn1AllQgjtIRlRfNk-MKKMqIYkoK93NCWbULCTpRGKB1Vsqacq6J-oEE0pCzJxeOKyY3dq23iMQdz2CGeQ5rV78ULmxRqTZUreNqf4K9FVgDcRlSCPeNzPRsaAK05r8-_v/s1600-h/2+yrs+old.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5325478043280819506" style="WIDTH: 170px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 182px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjU3Z0daVzIBiGn1AllQgjtIRlRfNk-MKKMqIYkoK93NCWbULCTpRGKB1Vsqacq6J-oEE0pCzJxeOKyY3dq23iMQdz2CGeQ5rV78ULmxRqTZUreNqf4K9FVgDcRlSCPeNzPRsaAK05r8-_v/s400/2+yrs+old.jpg" border="0" /></a> This is him at the hospital when lil brother was born. He was 19 months old. Around 20 lbs, about 27 inches tall. (and cuter than a 2 day old pup!)<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi62FTAHO0h4ydm5FGQK7QmDQlSu4XGGD5mGX1eO0xhKBWPRTjWnIBiLbLbhwqxM14RQvTJfeI8tEQnTDole3Dv3gefAGBctKjL_9HQC2FTXa4tFrWQ_GFf_tyAJ6qnK9Pq091zh51D7yGY/s1600-h/6+yrs+old.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5325478043311944354" style="WIDTH: 170px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 211px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi62FTAHO0h4ydm5FGQK7QmDQlSu4XGGD5mGX1eO0xhKBWPRTjWnIBiLbLbhwqxM14RQvTJfeI8tEQnTDole3Dv3gefAGBctKjL_9HQC2FTXa4tFrWQ_GFf_tyAJ6qnK9Pq091zh51D7yGY/s400/6+yrs+old.jpg" border="0" /></a> Lower left corner (your left) here he is again. Christmas of 98. He was 5 1/2 yrs old, in Kindergarten. About 45 lbs. little over 3 feet tall. Our sweet assistant pastor's daughter is a nurse practitioner at the medical clinic in Louisa where the boys doctor at. She was able to see him, and they did the nasal swab test for flu, sure enough, Strain B. which she said wasn't as bad as strain A. So she wrote out prescriptions for him for Tamiflu, and then she wrote them out for everyone else in the house also. Insurance covered the boys, but not mine and Eugene's. Our was $94 per prescription. I did not buy it. I hope and pray we don't get the flu, but if we do, I will probaly be glad to pay for the medicine. lol Everyone pray for us, that we do not get sick...Eugene has no sick days at work, and I do not want to be sick...Amberhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02896475943205901160noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5199218234388934672.post-27880811005529026422009-03-02T06:47:00.004-05:002009-03-02T06:58:12.290-05:00Sick children, has to be MondaySee what cute children I used to have...how much they loved one another? Cute, weren't they?<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2LPK7XJpNrwaRcIcZzK7V5ZMY0gcoyEX_BDBmYDZn4yMTcWNNGeyBhDCwSf_E2OAwqgE0yYQwDThn6D-ljh-sWmgdMh8uP1L4uc2dMWpAMrjzv1ZCgWPi99dAug0GBX3C5v9ayS8Lokde/s1600-h/Conley+and+Kenneth,+18+months+old.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5308557898088462466" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 281px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 290px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2LPK7XJpNrwaRcIcZzK7V5ZMY0gcoyEX_BDBmYDZn4yMTcWNNGeyBhDCwSf_E2OAwqgE0yYQwDThn6D-ljh-sWmgdMh8uP1L4uc2dMWpAMrjzv1ZCgWPi99dAug0GBX3C5v9ayS8Lokde/s400/Conley+and+Kenneth,+18+months+old.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div>Well, I can sure tell that this is Monday! My oldest is home, sick with what web md tells me may just be the FLU! My son, the healthy one, the one that usually eats like a horse, the one that never gets sick...is in his bed right now, knocked out on Tylenol cold & Flu nighttime medicine, until I can get a call in to his doctor, so I can get him in there. I hope it is just a cold, because with one child in this house who has asthma, we DON'T need the FLU virus circulating...luckily, my asthma sufferer is the one who has the FLU shot every year, because after 3 yearrs of hospital stays from the FLU, I don't want to go thru that again. So everyone, please pray for my boy, and my others and the treeman and me that it will be just a cold, ( but I doubt it, with a fever, body aches, sneezing, coughing, eyes hurting, headache, I doubt it) and that no one else gets it.</div>Amberhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02896475943205901160noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5199218234388934672.post-51106156119587646132009-03-01T11:56:00.001-05:002009-03-01T11:59:07.770-05:00March Serenade<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9TLB4AjgxFQd3zxQscoj10OSTqK3HsJkIn1EFYBBVypzf8-UPxCJBBM7Miw7ElhP1BIB1hhYt9LvueO_HTThyphenhyphenuw-OeiT02mXNz9zaf23l4J419qzl23GwYOoGYGUhTaVdbjRXk3PUt-yx/s1600-h/March_Day_serenade_final.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5308264551887108642" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 262px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9TLB4AjgxFQd3zxQscoj10OSTqK3HsJkIn1EFYBBVypzf8-UPxCJBBM7Miw7ElhP1BIB1hhYt9LvueO_HTThyphenhyphenuw-OeiT02mXNz9zaf23l4J419qzl23GwYOoGYGUhTaVdbjRXk3PUt-yx/s400/March_Day_serenade_final.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div><span style="font-family:verdana;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-family:verdana;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-family:verdana;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-family:verdana;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-family:verdana;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-family:verdana;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-family:verdana;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-family:verdana;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-family:verdana;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-family:verdana;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-family:verdana;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-family:verdana;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-family:verdana;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-family:verdana;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-family:verdana;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-family:verdana;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-family:verdana;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-family:verdana;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-family:verdana;"></span> </div><div><span style="font-family:verdana;">March Day Serenade<br />The frosty days are put to rest<br />As winter turns to spring<br />We cast an eye up to the sky<br />To what this month will bring.<br />A day when dark clouds gently brew<br />With not one leaf a stirring<br />When thunder peals as lightning cracks<br />A raging storm, enduring.<br />As shifting winds blow here and there<br />Without a rhyme or reason<br />When Ides of March come out to play<br />A turbulent sort of season.<br />We've waited long for nature's song<br />For freshness in the air<br />For rainy days and purple haze<br />For breezes sweet and fair.<br />A time of kites and windy days<br />A time when dreams are made<br />A time when God blows forth a kiss<br />A March day serenade.<br />Author/Written By:<br />Marilyn Ferguson<br />©2002 </span></div><div><span style="font-family:verdana;"></span> </div><div><a href="http://www.marilynspoetry.com/index.php?p=1_112_March-poem">http://www.marilynspoetry.com/index.php?p=1_112_March-poem</a></div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div><span style="font-size:180%;">Happy March! It IS about saving a marriage, but it could be applied to any kind of relationship that is in trouble. Now, I just need to convince my husband to watch it too. lol.Amberhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02896475943205901160noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5199218234388934672.post-58567917156406406252009-02-28T13:40:00.003-05:002009-02-28T13:54:54.175-05:00more cute puppies, and Cute Chickens?
